Description
How do you experience tension and conflict — at work, in your family, or in your closest relationships?
Sometimes we find ourselves torn between the wish to say what really matters to us and the fear of damaging the relationship. We may stay silent because we doubt that the other person will truly be able to hear us. Or we leave conversations — with a child, a partner, a client, a colleague, a friend — feeling frustrated because we would have loved to be understood, or sad because we realise we were not really able to listen.
This one-day experiential introduction to Nonviolent Communication invites you to discover how to support more alive, authentic and collaborative relationships — in personal, professional and social contexts.
You will explore how to cultivate a more grounded and curious presence, even when emotions are intense or dialogue becomes difficult.
You will begin to recognise and honour emotions and needs, step out of habitual patterns, and transform discussions into more conscious and meaningful dialogues.
We will alternate short explanations, guided practices, work in pairs and triads, role plays, small-group exercises and plenary sharing, in order to support concrete and embodied learning.
We will begin to explore how to recover choice in what we communicate and how we communicate it: taking full care of our own needs while also wanting to care for the needs of others, and co-creating connection and solutions that can work for everyone involved — including ourselves.
